Why blood donation?

Today is a special day for me to remember,because I went for "Blood Donation"is my first time! oh yah~ went with 2 of my classmates they are Shairul and Geeta.
The procedures are the following:
-Fill in your particulars and answer some personal questions(many being asked
especially on the SEX questions ha ha )
-Registered
-Check your Blood Pressure
-Check your Iron level( if your iron is too low they won't allow you to donate)
-Finally donating blood, U will be resting on lying bed chair, then injection,then start your blood donation.

I shall said it's much better then i expected, at first I was quite worried of the injection because I am afraid the pain.ha ha but actually not pain, and after donating the blood I felt happy ,I will donate my blood again in

About 10 mins later I have donated 10000cc. Nurse banded me with a cute bandaged Then the nurse asked me to rest for 10mins before getting down the bed, and go outside near lecture theatre there to drink water and eat biscuits... after that I went for lesson...
They also give me a pen and a lung when i used to squash when donating blood.And some medicine for repairing the Irons in my body...
